I was born in Isfahan, Iran in December 1956, and completed my high school education there.
I have never had painting or sketching lessons with an instructor. I started painting as a professional in 1978, and a few years later, I sought refuge abroad, escaping from the clutches of a regime bereft of art. During this period I have held numerous exhibitions which have been broadly received with both acclaim and criticism.
